Visiting a Day Spa

Our visit to Smithtown NY included a trip to a Halloween Party, another to a day spa, and lastly, the very popular StayCool salon. We all know that the StayCool salon in Smithtown is one of the most well known in NYC. We both were ready for a cold shower as we stepped into the StayCool Salon in NYC and were given one by our hosts. It was not bad at all, however we wanted a cold drink, and we didn't have any ice in the cooler so the hostess found one for us and was happy to oblige. Her gift made us both feel better, and in turn, so did our day.

It was dark outside when we walked into the Night Club in Smithtown. The room was small, but it felt much larger than it actually was. At the front desk I was greeted by a smiley face and was happy to find an employee who was warm and willing to help me find my glasses. Even when I don't like to have contacts, I have to have my glasses sometimes.

The larger room had many tables and chairs set up to make sure everyone had their place to sit comfortably, and many were displaying their contact lenses. A sampling of permanent cosmetics was also available for examination.

I made sure to ask the receptionist where the samples were and she pointed me to the very large wall of liquid oils and solutions. The oils and solutions had all the ingredients I was looking for, including some new formulas.

There was also a display case full of temporary cosmetics for various occasions. There were many samples of contact foundations, eye shadows, lips, mascara, brushes, lipsticks, nail polish, eye shadows, and of course, the permanent cosmetics.

All the permanent cosmetics seemed to have the same quality and so I was thrilled to get some temporary ones to experiment with. After using some permanent cosmetics, I realized how much I liked the feel of them on my skin, and how safe they are.

If a woman does simple contact application of them with the touch of a button, she will not be exposed to any dangerous chemicals. One feature I love about these makeup pencils is the fact that they come in a variety of colors, which makes finding a color I like easy.

Permanent cosmetics were one of the things we were more excited about. Although I prefer a neutral shade, but the cosmetic world has so many colors to choose from.

I picked out a nice orangey-brown, which was perfect for my eyeliner. The color lasted all day, and I even got compliments on it.

Day 2 we tried the day spa by the pool. The masseuse came in and spent several minutes massaging all the muscles in my back and shoulders. She was a wonderful masseuse, and my tired muscles were immediately relaxed.
