The first thing you will need to do is get a Metal Forming Mallets mallet for your toolbox; it does not have to be expensive. You can choose to have some hand crafted metal mallets to start out with but there are so many out there that people have been making them that I would consider going with a mass produced version first.

Now you should begin doing your research on all the different kinds of mallets available to you; you could go online and find everything you need. Take your time in the search, because it could take you quite a while to find what you need. As you begin searching, you should find a large range of options; the amount of choices you have will determine how good or bad your toolbox will be.

You will want to go through each type of tool and take a look at each type of mold creation tools that are available; these are the basic kinds of tools that everyone needs in their toolbox. If you need to add an extra set of tools to your arsenal, you should check with all the different stores where you can buy the mallets you will need to start out with.

When it comes to tooling, you will need a piece of plastic called a lead sheet; it will protect your mallet while working on it. All of your other tools will come with a putty knife, which is a flat-handled tool that you will use to create different shapes. Once you get your new mallet in your hands, it is recommended that you only use your putty knife to create straight lines.

The second part of getting your Metal Forming Mallets mallet to work is to get a masking tape. The masking tape has a tip that is used to get into the pores in the mold making tool and then uses that to create a clear line between the two pieces of plastic that make up the mold. The masking tape can be cut down into strips to create a stencil that you can use to create a border around the mold.

This will help you by getting rid of any markings that are on the mold that you do not want to see. After you get your masking tape in place, you should get all of your other tools in the bag; this includes your Metal Forming Mallets. Now you should have a clear path as well as lines and labels in your mold to create something that you like.

The final step of getting your new mold is to put the molding material in the mold and allow it to dry for at least twenty-four hours. When it has dried, it will be ready to give to a metal formers as a gift or to yourself!
